I am "KOLORFULKAT MEEKINS' MISS
EMILY" and I was born December 14, 1997. I'm a petite Seal Point
Meezer gal and even though I'm spoiled and have a big mouth, mama loves me.
She's crazy about my ears and says I have great legs too!

"I AM the
Divine Miss Em...OK?"

EIGHT MONTHS OLD
(8-14-98)
I am over 8
months old already and mom says that when I turn one she's gonna go light a
candle at church. I like to do all kinds of fun things now that I'm older like
stealing socks and towels, undoing shoelaces, and climbing up the sides of
mama's wheelchair (to think they were worried about the curtains!). I also like
to bring my fishing pole toy into bed with us at night but I don't think mom is
too happy about it. It's always a thrill for me to go into the bathroom and howl
up a storm (just love listening to myself) and I like to nap in the bathroom
sink. Not long ago though I was fooling around while playing "Jungle Judy" and
fell in the toilet! I was so surprised and mom was not happy. (Personally I
think she had too much fun drying me off!) Afterwards she let me help her do
some paperwork (I love sitting in the middle of it all) and then we snuggled.
That's my most favorite part.

Happy Birthday
Emily!!

It's 12/14/98 and
we survived. Emily just turned one today. The party is over and everyone left
hours ago. How on earth do parents ever survive birthdays? (Probably the reason
why I only remember "family parties".) Considering I had no "theme" and NO
BARNEY it was a success (sorta). Only a few friends could stop by today so there
were plenty of goodies to go around. Emily played the role of hostess well but
could have been a bit more cooperative in the "sharing" department. Games were
fun but got a little wild as we grew tired and toward the end Emily threw up
over the computer. She's sleeping now...THINK I'LL WAKE HER UP...(heh heh heh).
Oh well this birthday is over and God willing, we'll have at least 15 more to
share. When all is said and done though, there is never enough time. So I'll
grin and enjoy it as Emily grows and thank God for his blessings. [I guess it's
time for me to go light that candle at church.]....signed with love, Mom.

Merry Christmas Emily!!

And Now I am TWO!

POSTSCRIPT: It was such a painful shock but I hoped I was wrong.
Emily was not feeling well and went to sleep in her hidey hole for the night She never woke up.
She died on May 24, 2009. My sister, Renee, came over about 3am and found her. She put her in
bed with me and I spent 5 hours alone. Emily looked like she was still alive and she was so beautiful. The Vet
was so surprised...We all have no clue what killed her. A Rescue Siamese Cat called Hope lives here now but Emily's spirit is still so strong.
