![]() ![]() ![]() Her name was Kathy Jo and we became close friends over 25 years ago. She was a gentle soul with a caring spirit and such an infectious laugh. Kathy just turned 40 recently and died from cancer. I miss her and the joy she brought into my life. Lucian was her husband of many years and they had two boys, Ricky and Robert. In her opinion, they're the best guys in town. She loved her friends and family and the feelings were mutual. Kathy also shared a special bond with her pets who brought her alot of comfort. Kathy's last five years were such rough ones and called for alot of prayers. Throughout it all though, she didn't lose hope. She was still able to share her gift of laughter and a beautiful smile. ![]() ![]() ![]() Kathy was a champion She never gave up hope She fought with strength and courage And a positive approach. For five long years she challenged All that cancer would dish out Great pride and the will to conquer Expressed without a doubt. A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove, He only takes the best. It's lonesome here without you, I miss you more each day. Life doesn't seem the same it seems, Since you've gone away. Somedays are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong, It's then I hear you whisper "Cheer up and carry on."
